Iceland is a country like no other. It boasts untouched countrysides, whimsical culture and an incredibly powerful energy. It has captured a very special place in our hearts, and we are so excited to be returning for our THIRD yoga & nature retreat.

Your adventure begins in the heart of Reykjavik - Iceland's beautiful & vibrant capital. Together, we will fly north to Iceland's second largest city, Akureyri, which will be our base for six days. You will be immersed in nature and take the roads a little less travelled for a truly authentic Icelandic experience. We will take in the inspirations of the many acclaimed Icelandic musicians, artists and writers and be BLOWN AWAY with healing waters, stunning landscapes, beautiful people, Icelandic Folklore, and geothermal energy.

The midnight sun and warm (for Iceland!) August days make this the perfect time of year to experience the beauty of this country.

This retreat is a balanced vacation with energizing and rejuvenating yoga, yummy food and unique adventures. Iceland — Off the Beaten Path is a trip of a lifetime and will leave you feeling recharged and inspired!

8pm - restorative yoga

Tuesday

7am - breakfast

9-11am - yoga + meditation

12pm - lunch

1pm - ferry to Hrisey Island and guided hike

6pm - dinner

Geothermal hot tub or explore Akureyri

Wednesday

7am - breakfast

9-11am - yoga + meditation

12pm - lunch

Free time: use the spa; book a treatment; Husky dog scootering; whale watching; horseback riding; hiking; explore Akureyri

7pm - dinner

Thursday

7am - breakfast

9-11am - yoga + meditation

12pm - lunch

1pm - excursion around the north, including the Devil’s Kitchen and Tectonic Plates and time at Myvatn Geothermal Silica Baths. Dinner included in tour.
