Why I created this program.
Once upon a time I was a yoga teacher who only taught fast paced classes. I wasn’t comfortable teaching slower classes, but I believed having both capacities was essential. I saved my pennies and traveled to Vancouver to take a Yin training with Bernie Clark and it absolutely transformed my teaching. Not only did I develop comfort in teaching slower classes, but my ability to modify my faster classes improved as well. I started to step into my authentic voice as a teacher and build a following that loved these slower experiences.
Eventually I combined my passion for essential oils with these luxuriously slow yoga experiences and my yin and aromatherapy workshops and classes were born. I was blown away by the positive response and am now ready to share the method I have developed over the past four years with others.

Do I need to be a yoga teacher?
Definitely not! You will deepen your awareness and understanding of Yin and essential oils and be able to enhance your own practice. I will guide you in what you need to know.
How many CEUs?
You will receive 20 hours of continuing educations units if you are a yoga teacher registered with Yoga Alliance. I am registered as a continuing education provider.
How much Yin experience do I need?
You would benefit from having about one year’s experience with Yin, but I require six months minimum.
I’m a busy person. How much out of class time is required?
There will be a minimum of one hour of reading or practice on your own. You will be given many resources to explore Yin and essential oils more in depth, if you’d like to explore more.
What if I’m injured?
This is more common than you may realize! One of the benefits of taking a training is to learn how to modify your practice with props or variations of poses. We will be able to work with your injury.
How many breaks will we get?
You will receive periodic bathroom and snack breaks throughout the weekend. You will have longer lunch breaks on both Saturday and Sunday.
What happens if I miss a day?
If you miss a day, you can choose to do a few hours of one-on-one with me (at additional cost) or take the day again the next time I offer this training.
