Ayurveda is an ancient technology that is individualized to each person's constitution, based on the five elements (earth, water, fire, air, space). Our physical yoga (asana) practice is just one part of the equation of health. Working with the natural rhythm of the seasons and your own genetic makeup, you will discover how to optimize your life for overall resilience and health.
In this lecture + practice style workshop, you will learn about your own constitution (dosha), what activities and foods are beneficial (or what to avoid!). We will focus on the summer season and do a short yoga practice including breathwork (pranayama) to pacify Pitta.
