How's Your Confidence?
/How's your confidence lately? Building confidence in anything, yoga related or in any area of life, can be hard and keeping it can be even more of a challenge. One way that I've been able to turn up my self certainty is to reframe my thinking around my perceived limitations - physical, mental or emotional.
Our limitations, whether they're injuries, spaces that need more learning or something that we're working on on a personal level, are spaces for growth. Our weaker spots can be the areas we learn from. The areas that need support can be the places where transformation happens and most of the time, the places that we're hardest on ourselves about are exactly where we have the potential to be the most powerful.
I invite you to check in with your own perceived liabilities and contemplate how you can rewrite them as assets. What are the things you're struggling with right now? Is there something you need to direct more attention and love to? What are the things you've historically had a hard time with? Is there some way that you can commit to helping others overcome a similar struggle? What have you learned from these experiences?
When we can see our differences not as deficits but as what makes us shine, our confidence can soar.
