55 Fun Ideas for Summer ☀️🍉⛱️
/I love a good list! So when I stumbled across an article with summer ideas, I used it as inspiration for my own.
Summertime goes by so quickly and these suggestions can help you squeeze the most out of summer. There are ideas for you to do solo, with friends or partners or with kids. Some activities are outdoor, some are indoor.
As I always say, choose what resonates and leave the rest!
1. Sign up for an outdoor yoga class.
2. Put on some sunscreen, put on a new playlist, and take a walk around your neighbourhood.
3. Help out a friend by petsitting while they’re away.
4. Declutter items that no longer serve you and have a sidewalk sale.
5. Watch a sunset or sunrise.
6. Join a CSA and make leafy green salads with seasonal ingredients.
7. Get lost in a good summer read - ideally on a hammock.
8. Take a hike. (Join me on Fridays in Gatineau Park)
9. Unplug from social media and electronics to give yourself a break.
10. Try morning meditation.
11. Start a 30-day challenge with yoga, pilates, walking, meditation or running.
12. Set intentions during the new moon/full moon.
13. Visit a new restaurant or outdoor cafe you haven’t been to before.
14. Plan a weekend escape (or day trip) to a beach.

16. Road trip to a new-to-you town or city. It doesn’t have to be far.
17. Dance the night away at an outdoor concert or music festival.

30. Beach comb and create a nature mandala with what you find.

34. Try pickleball or squash, if you haven’t yet.
