Rosemary Oil - Tips

Popularly known for being a culinary herb, rosemary has been used in traditional medicine for centuries and is a mainstay in aromatherapy. Rosemary, an oil of knowledge and transition, helps to open us up to new experiences and supports our ability to adjust. Rosemary has a wide range of uses and benefits including stress relief, promoting hair growth, and enhancing your memory. Rosemary is a great oil to have on hand in your collection. Here are some ways you can use it:
 

  • Add a few drops of rosemary essential oil to your lotion or a carrier oil (like coconut or sesame) and apply it to the back of your neck for a boost of mental energy and focus.

  • Rosemary helps with transition and change by inviting us to trust in a more intelligent power. Use it in a diffuser to fill your space with its woodsy scent and invite in more clarity and confidence.

  • After a shower, take 5 drops of rosemary (mixed into a carrier oil) and massage into your scalp to promote hair growth. If you prefer rinsing your hair our after, make sure you let it sit for at least 5 minutes.
